Baseball Recap: Bend Lava Bears vs. McDaniel Mountain Lions
Bend won the last time they faced McDaniel and things went their way on Thursday too. The Bend Lava Bears were the clear victor by an 11-2 margin over the McDaniel Mountain Lions.
Cole Cooper was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits over four innings pitched. Cooper was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-5 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI.
In other batting news, Bend let Lewis Knapp and Marcio Silva run wild. Knapp scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4, while Silva scored two runs and stole Two bases. while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaden Cooper, who went 2-for-5 with three RBI.
