Presentation, Tupelo join this week's MaxPreps Xcellent 25 National Volleyball Rankings.

The longest current volleyball win streak in the nation came to an end Saturday when the Assumption Rockets topped the Muncie Burris Owls 2-0 to win the championship of the Burris Invitational.

The Owls had won 99 straight matches dating back to the 2008 season. Besides keeping Assumption undefeated on the season, the victory allowed the Rockets to move up to No. 7 in this week's MaxPreps Xcellent 25 National Volleyball Rankings.

There are very few changes this week in the rankings. While Mercy (Louisville, Ky.) and Benet Academy (Lisle, Ill.) both fell from the rankings following losses, undefeated Presentation (San Jose, Calif.) and Tupelo (Miss.) both moved in.

Only two other teams, Pope (Marietta, Ga.) and Muncie Burris, lost matches last week. However the losses were not enough to drop them out of the rankings entirely.
