Basketball Recap: Blue Mountain Takes a Loss

Blue Mountain was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 53-38 bruising from the Twinfield Trojans. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bucks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 71-45 back in January.

Blue Mountain's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Twinfield, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Blue Mountain will square off against Woodsville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Woodsville will roll in looking for their 16th straight win, something Blue Mountain surely won't give up without a fight. As for Twinfield, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Northfield at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The timing is sure in Twinfield's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while Northfield has been banged up by six consecutive losses on the road.
