Volleyball Recap: Gilman Has No Trouble Against Assumption

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Fall Creek, Gilman was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They blew past the Assumption Royals 3-0. The Pirates not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since October 2nd (when they won 3-0).

Gilman never let Assumption on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-12, 27-25, 25-12.

Gilman has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-15 record this season. As for Assumption, they are on a 17-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-24.

Coming up, Gilman will square off against Owen-Withee at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Assumption does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
