Peachtree Baptist Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 27-26 heartbreaker at the hands of the Kings Way Christian School Crusaders. One positive for the Trailblazers, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Several Trailblazers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Mackenzie Reed, who posted 12 points. That was a full 46.2% of Peachtree Baptist Academy's points, marking the fourth time in a row she's put up more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Catherine Herring, who scored nine points.

Peachtree Baptist Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Kings Way Christian School, they moved to 1-7 with that victory, which also ended their eight-game losing streak.

Peachtree Baptist Academy will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Kings Way Christian School at 4:30 p.m. on February 11th. Kings Way Christian School has already played their next contest (against Arlington Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
