Football Recap: Sun Prairie East Skates Past Fort Atkinson with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sun Prairie East). They breezed past the Fort Atkinson Blackhawks to the tune of 56-7 on Friday. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Cardinals' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin football rankings (they are ranked 23rd, while the Blackhawks are ranked 292nd).

The win made it two in a row for Sun Prairie East and bumps their season record up to 3-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 38.5 points over those games. As for Fort Atkinson, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.
