Carrollton wins going away against Marlington

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against East Liverpool, the Carrollton Warriors were happy to have found some success on Friday. They put the hurt on Marlington with a sharp 66-44 win. That's another feather in the cap for Carrollton, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Lincoln Mallarnee was the offensive standout of the matchup as he scored 24 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Carrollton's points. Braylen Murphy was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Carrollton's win bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Marlington, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
Carrollton will head out on the road to face off against Norton at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday. As for Marlington, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Northwest at 7:00 p.m.
