Pine Creek high school football team gets last-minute victory over Fountain-Fort Carson.

Pine Creek (Colorado Springs, Colo.) nabbed the lead on a rushing touchdown with 1:00 remaining in the fourth quarter to upset
Fountain-Fort Carson (Fountain, Colo.) 23-14 on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a touchdown catch by
Tommy Lazzaro, the Trojans went into halftime with a 14-7 lead. The Eagles took the lead to win the game on a touchdown run in the fourth quarter.
The loss came as a shock for Fountain-Fort Carson, which entered the game ranked No. 10 in the MaxPreps Freeman Rankings for Colorado, while Pine Creek was ranked No. 36. FFC came into the game with two wins out of the past seven games between the two teams.
PC also won the meeting between the two teams last season, 14-6.
In a non-conference game next week Pine Creek (1-0) takes on Lakewood, and Fountain-Fort Carson (0-1) will go up against Columbine also in a non-conference game.
