Basketball Recap: Calhoun Comes Up Short

Calhoun was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 48-42 heartbreaker at the hands of the Industrial Cobras.

Calhoun's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Industrial, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Calhoun will welcome Gonzales at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Industrial, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will take on Karnes City at 12:15 p.m. on the 24th.
