Soccer Game Preview: Eastern Randolph vs. Randleman

Eastern Randolph hasn't had much luck against Randleman recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Wildcats will head out to challenge the Tigers at 6:00 p.m. Eastern Randolph has given up an average of 4.8 goals per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Eastern Randolph fell victim to Providence Grove and their airtight defense on Thursday. They came up short against the Patriots, falling 9-0. While losing is never fun, Eastern Randolph can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 423rd, while Providence Grove are ranked 123rd).

Meanwhile, Randleman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 4-1 to Trinity.

Randleman's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Eastern Randolph, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-8-2.

Eastern Randolph couldn't quite get it done against Randleman when the teams last played back in March as they fell 3-1. Can the Wildcats avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
