Pflugerville and Weiss are an even 3-3 against one another since March of 2019, but likely not for long. The Panthers will venture away from home to challenge the Wolves at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Pflugerville has struggled recently with three defeats in a row, while Weiss will arrive with three straight victories.

It was a proper cat-fight when Pflugerville challenged Del Valle on Saturday. The Panthers fell 7-3 to the Cardinals.

Meanwhile, Weiss narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Georgetown 6-5.

Jordan Benjamin was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. What's more, he posted two strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March of 2024. He was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Deegan Warnock, who scored two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Jorian Guinn also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Weiss' record is now 13-6-2. As for Pflugerville, their loss dropped their record down to 8-14-1.

Pflugerville couldn't quite finish off Weiss in their previous matchup back in April of 2022 and fell 3-1. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
