Basketball Recap: Ascension Academy Wins Going Away Against All Saints Episcopal School

Ascension Academy hadn't done well against All Saints Episcopal School recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Ascension Academy Cardinals enjoyed a cozy 62-48 victory over the All Saints Episcopal School Patriots. This was a revenge game for the Cardinals: when they faced off against the Patriots on January 7th, they had to take a 71-38 defeat.

The win made it two in a row for Ascension Academy and bumps their season record up to 7-8. As for All Saints Episcopal School, the loss snapped their winning streak at seven games and leaves them with a 20-8 record.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Kingdom Prep Academy the next time they take the court. All Saints Episcopal School will host Kingdom Prep Academy on Friday, while Ascension Academy will host them at 6:00 p.m. on February 7th.
