Baseball Recap: Brattleboro Falls Short Against Ranked Bellows Falls

Brattleboro faced Bellows Falls in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Bears fell just short of the Terriers by a score of 6-5. The Bears were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Terriers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Brattleboro's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Bellows Falls, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brattleboro will take on Fair Haven at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Bears are facing the Slaters at the right time seeing as the Slaters are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Bellows Falls, they will square off against Green Mountain at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
