It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Crosby-Ironton can now relate to. They took an 81-63 bruising from the Providence Academy Lions on Saturday. The Rangers' loss signaled the end of their undefeated season.

Maddyn Greenway was her usual excellent self, going 16-for-27 to rack up 40 points along with six steals and five assists for Providence Academy. The match was Greenway's 33rd in a row with at least 20 points. Hope Counts was another key player, dropping a double-double with 23 points and 15 rebounds.

Having lost for the first time this season, Crosby-Ironton fell to 31-1. As for Providence Academy, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 32-0.
