Founders Classical Academy can finally bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They came out on top against the Sandy Valley Sidewinders by a score of 27-18. The Centurions' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

They got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of Vanely Cruz and Julietta Curdy, who each put up eight points. Curdy also led the team in rebounds with nine.

Founders Classical Academy's win ended an 11-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-6. As for Sandy Valley, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Founders Classical Academy will host Indian Springs at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Indian Springs' defense has only allowed 27.2 points per game this season, so Founders Classical Academy's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Sandy Valley, they will head out to challenge Baker at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
