Volleyball Recap: Hale Ray's Victory on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Two + How To Watch

If Haddam-Killingworth wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Hale Ray, they should've done a better job of containing Maggie Janecek. The Noises blew past the Cougars 3-0 on Wednesday for which the team can thank Janecek, who had nine digs and four aces. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last three times she's played.

Hale Ray never let Haddam-Killingworth on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-9, 29-27.

The win made it two in a row for Hale Ray and bumps their season record up to 14-2-1. As for Haddam-Killingworth, their defeat was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-18.

Coming up, Hale Ray will challenge Morgan at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Haddam-Killingworth, they will take on Hand at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
