Volleyball Game Preview: Jefferson Cavaliers vs. Watertown Arrows

The Jefferson Cavaliers will face off against the Watertown Arrows at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Thursday, Jefferson came up short against Huron and fell 3-1. The Cavaliers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Meanwhile, Watertown faced Mitchell in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Arrows lost 3-0 to the Kernels. Arrows fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Kernels since Thursday.

While Watertown was not able to win a set, they sure kept things interesting: every set was decided by three points or less. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-23, 27-25.

Watertown's defeat dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Jefferson, their loss dropped their record down to 5-9.
