Rudyard's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the North Michigan Christian Academy Comets 47-44. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bulldogs have posted since December 16, 2024.

The victory got Rudyard back to even at 8-8. As for North Michigan Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-8.

Looking ahead, Rudyard will be playing in front of their home fans against Mackinaw City at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for North Michigan Christian Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 51-30 win against Maplewood Baptist Academy on the 18th.
