Football Recap: Athens Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After soaring to 56 points the game before, Athens was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They were just a hair shy of victory and fell 14-13 to the Kaufman Lions. Despite 111 more yards than the Lions, the Hornets couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.

Athens' loss came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was CHARLI KISER, who rushed for 80 yards and one TD. The team also got some help courtesy of David Richardson, who rushed for 106 yards and one touchdown.
