Calumet has gone 9-1 against Hancock recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Copper Kings will welcome the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Calumet's defense has only allowed 11 points per game this season, so Hancock's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Calumet took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 46-0 victory over Houghton. Considering the Copper Kings have won three games by more than 40 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Hancock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by Kingsford 41-0. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 481st, while the Flivvers are ranked 131st).

Calumet's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Hancock, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.

Everything came up roses for Calumet against Hancock in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 47-18 victory. Will the Copper Kings repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
