Volleyball Recap: Bexley's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Bexley had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Centennial Stars as they made off with a 3-0 victory.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-8, 25-15.

Molly Carlisle paced Bexley's offense, picking up nine kills. Carlisle got some help from Avonlea Pitts and her 25 assists. Carlisle was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Bexley's win bumped their record up to 16-6. As for Centennial, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-10 record this season.

Bexley will head out to square off against Bishop Hartley at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Centennial does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
