            South Brunswick hasn't had much luck against J.H. Rose recently, but that could start to change  on Tuesday. The Cougars will face off against the Rampants. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.
South Brunswick is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup  on Friday. They skirted past Southern Nash  6-4. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Cougars.
Meanwhile,  it may have taken  eight innings to finish the job, but J.H. Rose ultimately got the result they hoped for  on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a  victory as the  team sidled past Hunt  2-1. Winning may never get old, but the Rampants sure are getting used to it with their ninth in a row.
 Parker Simo tossed a big game,   tossing 6.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off   five  hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in eight consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side,  Parker Watson was  excellent,  going 2-for-3 with two  RBI and one  double.
 J.H. Rose pushed their record up to 23-3 with the  win, which was their seventh straight  at home. The  home  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for South Brunswick, their win bumped their record up to 10-15.
 South Brunswick might still be hurting after the  13-5 defeat they got from J.H. Rose  when the teams last played  back in March. Can the Cougars avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
