Baseball Recap: Watauga Pioneers vs. Ashe County Huskies
Watauga barely beat Ashe County the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Pioneers put the hurt on the Huskies with a sharp 9-3 win on Thursday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 on April 1st.
Watauga got a great performance from Daniel Jones as he struck out six batters over 4.2 innings while giving up three earned runs off five hits.

At the plate, Walker Ransdell and Evan Burroughs did most of the damage at the plate: Ransdell went 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double, while Burroughs went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.
