Basketball Recap: Reedy Comes Up Short

Reedy lost against Lone Star back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Reedy Lions took a 59-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lone Star Rangers. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Reedy's defeat dropped their record down to 19-13. As for Lone Star, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 12-15 record this season.

Reedy and Lone Star should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. Reedy will challenge Newman Smith at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday up 185 places (159 vs. 344). Similarly, Lone Star (ranked 234th) will meet Turner (ranked 1274th) at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
