Preview: Prague Red Devils vs. Casady Cyclones
Prague has enjoyed a eight-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will challenge the Casady Cyclones at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
Last Friday, Prague was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 57-53 to Meeker.
Meanwhile, Casady strolled past Epic Charter with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 71-52. The win made it back-to-back wins for Casady.
Bryson Buckingham was his usual excellent self, scoring 29 points along with six rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Casady's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Nedio, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and ten rebounds.
Prague has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season. As for Casady, they pushed their record up to 12-11 with that victory, which was their third straight at home.
Prague came up short against Casady in their previous meeting back in December of 2019, falling 80-74. Can Prague avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
