Softball Recap: Fallston Cougars vs. Bel Air Bobcats

Fallston put the finishing touches on their sixth blowout victory of the season on Wednesday. They never let the Bel Air Bobcats onto the board and left with a 10-0 victory. The win was familiar territory for Fallston who now have three in a row.

Madison Burns made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out nine over six innings pitched. Burns has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive pitching appearances. Burns was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, Sara Frist was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing two bases while going 4-for-4. Another player making a difference was Aleisa Rowe, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2.
