            The Dunellen Destroyers will head out on the road to  square off against  the New Brunswick Zebra  at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
On Wednesday, Dunellen came up short against Piscataway Vo-Tech  and fell  9-5. The Destroyers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Dunellen saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Ryan Hutchins, who  scored a  run and  stole three bases while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.  Juanluis Rodriguez was another,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 1-for-2.
 Meanwhile, New Brunswick was able to grind out a solid  victory over Somerset Tech last Wednesday, taking the game  12-9. The Zebra haven't had any issues with the Jaguars recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive  win against them.
 New Brunswick's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Dunellen, they now  have a losing record of 1-2.
 Dunellen beat New Brunswick 7-4  when the teams last played  back in May of 2019. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Destroyers since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
