Simla came tearing into Tuesday's contest with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 27.8 points), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 59-48 win over the Elbert Bulldogs. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Cubs also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.
Simla's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tatum Kocerha, who posted 23 points and eight rebounds. Simla pushed their record up to 15-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Elbert, their loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-5.
