Volleyball Recap: Wausa Takes a Loss

Wausa lost against West Holt back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Vikings came up short against the Huskies, falling 3-0. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-13, 25-13.

Avery Stevens paced Wausa's offense, picking up six kills. Stevens got some help from Kenley Anderson and her 14 assists.

Wausa's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for West Holt, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season.

Wausa wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Chambers/Wheeler Central on the 9th. As for West Holt, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Boyd County on the 9th.
