Basketball Recap: Greenville HomeSchool Athletics Takes a Loss

Greenville HomeSchool Athletics saw some tournament action on Friday. They had to suffer through a 71-20 loss at the hands of Longview Christian.

Obed Sandel had another great game (as he tends to do), dropping a triple-double with 13 points, 11 boards, and ten assists for Longview Christian. Those 11 rebounds gave Sandel a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Sam Sandel, who posted 13 points and six boards.

Greenville HomeSchool Athletics' defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Longview Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

Greenville HomeSchool Athletics will venture away from home to square off against Lucas Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The Archers are facing the Warriors at the right time seeing as the Warriors are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Longview Christian, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 52-43 victory against Lakewood Presbyterian on the 22nd.
