Reed Palmer posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Thursday. He struck out seven batters over 4.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits.

Looking ahead, Palmer and Troy will head out on the road to face off against Sullivan County at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Griffins will enter the matchup having just beaten Bucktail, so the Trojans will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
