John Diarse of Neville ran for the longest rushing play in 4A District 2 this season against Franklin Parish last week. Diarse scampered for 78 yards on the play and finished with 160 on the day as his team defeated the Patriots.

Neville extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Franklin Parish, 28-0. The victory was the ninth in a row for the team.

Bastrop's Jaetarious Davis and Jatavious Wilson have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Davis has thrown for 1565 yards this season, while Wilson, a 5-foot-7 receiver, has 49 catches for 1001 yards. The Tigers' Diarse leads the league in rushing yards with 796.

A big matchup in 4A District 2 this week will be when the Rams take on Barry Sebren's team. Bastrop is in third place, while the Patriots are in second place.

Thomas Bachman's team and Wossman played the most hotly contested game in the league this week, with Thomas Bachman's team eventually emerging with a 21-18 victory.
