Baseball Recap: Parkway Comes Up Short

After flying high against New Knoxville on Wednesday, Parkway came back down to earth. The Panthers took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. John's Bluejays on Thursday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 4-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Parkway has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season. As for St. John's, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-4.

Parkway has already played their next game (against Anna), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for St. John's, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 6-2 loss against Memorial on the 9th.
