Volleyball Recap: Nipmuc Regional Makes It Nine in a Row on the Road

Nipmuc Regional hadn't done well against Algonquin Regional recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Warriors came out on top against the Titans by a score of 3-1. This was payback for the Warriors, who suffered a 3-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Nipmuc Regional was especially dominant in the first set. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-23, 16-25, 25-20.

Kayleigh Fountain paced Nipmuc Regional's offense, picking up 14 kills. Fountain got some help from Gabrielle Leet and her 29 assists. Finally, Fountain was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high five blocks.
