Volleyball Recap: Westminster Christian Academy Find Success

It was a proper cat-fight when Westminster Christian Academy faced off against Mars Hill Bible on Saturday. The Wildcats skirted past the Panthers 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Wildcats have posted since August 29th.

Westminster Christian Academy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-20, 15-10.

Addie Mcwhorter paced Westminster Christian Academy's offense, picking up ten kills. Mcwhorter got some help from Azlyn Leatherwood and her 14 assists. Jane Forgey and Elle Paparella kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Westminster Christian Academy has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-10 record this season. As for Mars Hill Bible, their loss dropped their record down to 13-5.
