Burlington scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They breezed by Prairie View at home to the tune of 92-38. The team's offensive explosion also rewarded Burlington with their most commanding win of the season.
Meanwhile, Santa Fe Trail strolled past Osawatomie with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 71-54. The win was just what Santa Fe Trail needed coming off of a 68-38 loss in their prior contest.
Burlington's victory bumped their record up to 11-5. As for Santa Fe Trail, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-6.
Burlington was able to grind out a solid win over Santa Fe Trail when the teams last played back in January, winning 58-46. Does Burlington have another victory up their sleeve, or will Santa Fe Trail turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
