Basketball Game Preview: East vs. Central Blue Eagles

East is 0-9 against Central since January of 2020 but things could change on Monday. East will challenge the Central Blue Eagles at 5:00 p.m. East will be strutting in after a win while Central will be coming in after a loss.

East took a loss when they played away from home back in January, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They came out on top against Northeast by a score of 25-15.

Meanwhile, Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 43-42 heartbreaker at the hands of Southeast.

East's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-8. As for Central, their loss dropped their record down to 2-8.

East was taken down by Central 48-12 in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. Can East avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
