Lakeshore had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.5 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They never let the Sturgis Trojans get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory. The result was nothing new for Lakeshore, who have now won five games by five goals or more so far this season.

Lakeshore's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-3-3. The home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three matchups. As for Sturgis, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-12-1 record this season.
