Football Recap: Isle of Wight Academy Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Isle of Wight Academy extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to eight on Friday, dropping them down to 0-7. They were beaten by the Nandua Warriors 31-0. Considering the last time the Chargers couldn't score was back in August, the team can't take the result too hard.

As for Nandua, their record is now 2-4. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for they considering their seven-point performance the matchup before.

Nandua got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Nazere Blake out in front who rushed for 196 yards and one TD while picking up 10.3 yards per carry. Juelz Snead was another key rusher, rushing for 101 yards and one touchdown on only 13 carries.

Isle of Wight Academy wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 26-10 defeat against Norfolk Christian on the 16th. As for Nandua, they have also already played their next contest, a 50-6 loss against Colonel Richardson on the 17th.
