While the 2-2 score might suggest a draw, it was Yazoo County who was credited with the victory. The win was some much needed relief for they as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Yazoo County's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Canton, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 10-1.

Everything went Canton's way against Yazoo County in their previous matchup back in November, as Canton made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Canton since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
