After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Frankton, Elwood was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top against the Oak Hill Golden Eagles by a score of 17-14. This was payback for the Panthers, who suffered a 14-4 loss the last time these two teams met.
The team relied heavily on Kelsey Armes, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with one home run and three runs. Addison Jones was another key player, going 2-for-4 with four RBI and two runs.
