After flying high against Beatrice last Saturday, Elkhorn came back down to earth. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Blair Bears who were credited with the victory. The Blair Bears got it done in the shootout by posting seven goals to the Elkhorn Antlers' six. Elkhorn was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Blair apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2023.

As for Blair, they will head out on the road to challenge Bennington at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bennington will roll in looking for their 13th straight victory, something Blair surely won't give up without a fight.
