Volleyball Game Preview: Lynn Vo-Tech Tigers vs. Whittier RVT Wildcats

The Lynn Vo-Tech Tigers are taking a road trip to challenge the Whittier RVT Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Lynn Vo-Tech has five straight victories, Whittier RVT has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

On Tuesday, Lynn Vo-Tech got the win against Pioneer Charter School of Science II by a conclusive 3-0.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Lynn Vo-Tech took every set by at least 25 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-0, 25-0, 25-0.

Meanwhile, Whittier RVT didn't have quite enough to beat Haverhill on Wednesday and fell 3-2.

Whittier RVT's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Lynn Vo-Tech, their win bumped their record up to 9-2.

Lynn Vo-Tech came out on top in a nail-biter against Whittier RVT when the teams last played back in March, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
