Volleyball Game Preview: Mountain View Bruins vs. Summit Academy Bears

The Mountain View Bruins will head out to challenge the Summit Academy Bears at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Mountain View will be strutting in after a win while Summit Academy will be coming in after a loss.

On Tuesday, Mountain View made easy work of Timpanogos and carried off a 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bruins.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Mountain View was: they took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-15, 25-12.

Meanwhile, Summit Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to Uintah.

The final score came out to 25-8, 25-16, 25-13.

Mountain View's win bumped their record up to 15-4. As for Summit Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 4-15.

Everything went Mountain View's way against Summit Academy in their previous meeting back in September, as Mountain View made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bruins since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
