It was a good run, but Randall unfortunately witnessed the end of their ten-match winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 3-1 to the Canyon Eagles. The Raiders were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-19, 20-25, 25-15, 25-22.

Canyon was led to victory by Aiva Kerr and Laney Jones. Kerr had 19 digs and three assists, while Jones had 19 kills and 18 digs. Jones is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last 13 games she's played.

Randall's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 10-1 and their overall record down to 19-12. As for Canyon, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-14 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Randall will challenge rival West Plains at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Canyon is set to face off against their familiar foe Dumas at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
