After low-scoring totals in their previous five contests, Darlington brought some dynamite into their most recent match. Everything went their way against the Lower Richland Diamond Hornets on Friday as they made off with a 5-0 win. The victory was some much needed relief for Darlington as it spelled an end to their six-game losing streak.

They hit Lower Richland with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Nick Parker (2), Nyquan Williams, Marquel Lucas, and Blayton Flores.

Darlington's win bumped their record up to 3-9. As for Lower Richland, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-8.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Darlington will take on rival Lakewood at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Considering Darlington have lost three straight at home and Lakewood three straight on the road, this one might come down to who's more desperate to change their momentum.
