Anderson proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by six) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the McCallum Knights 2-1. The victory was familiar territory for the Trojans, who have now won five contests in a row.

Dax Popelka was the driving force of Anderson's attack as he scored both of Anderson's goals, bringing his season total up to nine goals.

Anderson pushed their record up to 8-5 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 22 goals over those five matchups. As for McCallum, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Anderson will host Bastrop at 7:45 p.m. on March 7th. As for McCallum, they will welcome Cedar Creek at 7:45 p.m. on Monday.
