Basketball Recap: First Baptist Christian Takes a Loss

First Baptist Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a hard 57-39 fall against the International Panthers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 62-39 back in November.

First Baptist Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for International, they moved to 2-4 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. First Baptist Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Phoenix at 6:15 p.m. on January 14, 2025. International will take on King Charter in a holiday battle at 7:00 p.m. on Monday at.
