While Carroll's victory against Tri-Central wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Cougars won by a run and slipped past the Trojans 6-5. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Cougars as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Brycen Jamison looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Carroll let Landon Hammond and Cale Peters run wild.
