Baseball Recap: Carroll Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

While Carroll's victory against Tri-Central wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Cougars won by a run and slipped past the Trojans 6-5. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Cougars as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Brycen Jamison looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Carroll let Landon Hammond and Cale Peters run wild. Hammond went a perfect 4-for-4 with three doubles, one stolen base, and two RBI, while Peters went 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and one triple. That's the most RBI Hammond has posted since back in May of 2025. Rowan Bell also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

Carroll's record now sits at 3-12. As for Tri-Central, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.
