Soccer Game Preview: Grangeville vs. Coeur d'Alene Charter Academy

Grangeville is 0-9-1 against Coeur d'Alene Charter Academy since September of 2020 but things could change on Friday. The Bulldogs will face off against the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Grangeville managed to slip by McCall-Donnelly the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bulldogs came up short against the Vandals on Saturday, falling 7-0. Surprisingly, this marked Grangeville's fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Coeur d'Alene Charter Academy was forced to settle for a draw. They and Post Falls finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw on Wednesday.

Grangeville now has a losing record of 3-4. With that draw, Coeur d'Alene Charter Academy's record moves to 6-1-1.

Grangeville might still be hurting after the 6-0 loss they got from Coeur d'Alene Charter Academy in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Bulldogs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
